In August and September of 2024, the Maine Department of Education (DOE) invited educators, parents, students, business leaders, and community members to come together to discuss what makes a school truly great. Hundreds of Mainers from across all of Maine's 16 counties participated, raising inspiring ideas that capture a shared vision for the future of Maine schools. Bangor High School proudly hosted one of the gatherings, and teachers and administrators from all BSD schools participated in this important discussion.
