Pest Management Announcement

Date: May 10, 2024

As part of our ongoing efforts to maintain healthy and vibrant school grounds, we will be conducting fertilization and pest treatment operations on May 18 and 19, 2024.

To ensure the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and visitors, we have partnered with Greenthumb, a local provider of eco-friendly fertilizers and pest control solutions. Greenthumb has proven expertise in sustainable practices, and we are confident in their ability to deliver effective results while minimizing any potential risks to the environment and public health.

The first round of applications for fertilization and pest treatment is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 18th. During this time, trained professionals from Greenthumb will apply the necessary treatments to our school grounds to promote healthy growth and control pests effectively. These treatments are carefully selected to meet safety standards and are compliant with regulations set forth by local authorities.

We understand that some individuals may have concerns about the use of fertilizers and pest control products. Rest assured that we have taken every precaution to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and the community. The products used by Greenthumb are approved and certified for use in educational institutions, and they follow industry best practices to minimize any potential impact on the environment.

While all necessary measures will be taken to prevent direct exposure to treated areas, we kindly request that citizens and their pets avoid school grounds during the application period. Signs will be posted in prominent locations to indicate the treated areas, and we ask for your cooperation in respecting these boundaries.

We value the health and safety of our community and remain committed to providing a conducive learning environment for our students. If you have any questions or require further information about the fertilization and pest treatment schedule, please do not hesitate to contact your school principal.
