JFDS eighth graders started the day off with a surprise assembly today.  After Mr. Hackett discussed the importance of a strong finish to the year, he recognized three eighth graders who have not missed a single day of school in their three years at JFDS.

Jack Moring, Seth Michalik, and Joey Morrison were each awarded a Bangor High School sweatshirt (courtesy of the JFDS Student Council) as a reward for their outstanding attendance.  Next on the agenda, Mr. Hackett called Mrs. Boehmer and Mrs. Vassiliev to the stage to honor their work in earning their National Board Certification.  Only 2% of teachers in the State of Maine hold this prestigious honor!
