Students in Mrs. Mathews sixth, seventh, and eighth grade science classes are putting the scientific method to work this year!
Sixth graders have been constructing and experimenting with pendulums, working in teams to gather data.
Seventh grade students used a dichotomous key to identify and classify trees from around school grounds.
Meanwhile, eighth grade students carried on the tradition of the paper airplane lab, experimenting with design and flight while gathering data. Mrs. Mathews’ students certainly are engaged in the scientific process!
